just got done fixing it and before that i stripped out the screws on the digitizer pain in the butt to get those removed then drilled them out finally got it out and it took me about half an hour to get the glass from the fram the then the home button broke. Overall is a good product but requires some skill installing it. Be vary carfull!!!

  2. works good but...

Posted by TomK on 30th Jul 2010

I finaly just got done fixing my phone. works 100percent. But, it seriously was a pain fixing it. first of all, expect them to send you a wrong size screw driver.(I ended up using the corner of a razor blade). second, if your screen is spider webbed badly, just send it in to get it fixed. the back breaking pain is not worth it. the repair video helps alot, but don't expect it to be as easy as it seems. i had trouble poping out the screen, from the case. and also poping off the digitizer from the frame...

  3. Works

Pretty straight forward to install. Only issue I had was unplugging the wires (ribbon has a lock) & a 'Home button' connector snagged & broke.

The 'digitizer' looks different (grid) & is glitchy when zooming in/out; it jumps while enlarging or shrinking a page, etc. Definitely not exact OEM quality/spec.

  4. Great service, great products

The kit was half helpful, but it was essential. The guitar pic(s) and phillips where not needed (phillips was a bit too large). However the rest, suction cup, pry bar, and flat head worked great. The video is pretty amateurish, but covers what you need to know. The only problem I had was taking off the cracked glass, but thats only because mine was spiderwebbed badly. Otherwise Zeetron does a great job in returning questions. I will be spreading the word about this company. Thanks again. P.S. to anyone replacing the glass, make sure you fit ribbon #3 in snug!

  5. Easy but Hard

Posted by Jeremy on 1st Jun 2010

I just got done replacing my wife's screen with the tools provided. The video instructions were right now. I received everything in the picture but my cloth was generic and didn't say zeetron on it... HAHA Anyways the videos was spot on and for me the hardest part was putting the #3 part in. The video said as long as the copper part was in and that is what took me forever because it kept bending. Oh yeah, and my wife's screen was shattered so when I tried removing the glass by the home button, it took forever as well. You can heat up the screen before removing a lot because the factory adhesive is strong, but of course not to the point where it warps the plastic (common sense). Other then those 2 things its great. The screen protector provided is pretty cool too.

  6. Not easiest but much better option than replacing the whole thing!

Dropped my iPhone 3GS and cracked the screen. Next day I looked online and came across this website. I watched the instructional Youtube video, and though it did not look the easiest, for $40 I thought it was worth a try. I am happy to report that I have a new-looking iPhone now with perfect glass screen!

Most challenging part: removing cracked glass prior to installing new glass, also connecting the adapter for the ear speaker is a little difficult. I would recommend pushing it up next to the female connector, then lightly pressing the flathead screwdrive against the other side until it locks in place. The other two connectors (for the touch screen and the home key) are easy to connect. Everything else is basic and simple! Be sure to have a jar or small bowl to place the screws in while you are working on other areas, they are TINY!

  7. Cracked Screen? With this kit you can easily fix it yourself.

Posted by Unknown on 7th May 2010

Wife had new iPhone 3GS for 2 days before dropping and cracking the screen. It wasn't worth going through all the hassles with Apple so I ordered this kit and it came within 5 days. I watched the Video, then played and paused it while I took the phone apart and put it back together. It took @ 20 minutes and the phone works perfectly. You can't tell it was ever broken. All the parts fit perfectly. I would highly reccommend this kit if you have a broken screen.

  8. Perfect

This product is perfect! It came within 1 week of the shipping date. Highly recommend buying it. The instructional videos are the best I've seen, everything works perfectly! Would definately do business with again!

  9. Excellent Product

Order Actually on Amazon.com from this Company and once received Tested it and fully worked before having it installed. After made the Purchase the price did go up, but hey its the 3Gs and a very Nice Product. Thank you

Also there are 3 Different types of Digitizer's on the Market as Follows: Original, Grade B, and Grade C. As for the Original you get quality, Grade B will have issues, and Grade C will have nothing but problems. Stay in the Range of Quality and not cheap as you have a iPhone not a RAZR. You pay $400-600 for a 3Gs don't Purchase Cheap as your phone will work cheap>
